Jack Margossian

Founder and CEO

Jack founded Comport in his NYC apartment more than 30 years ago, and has guided the company and its customers through generations of industry and technology change.  He holds an integral role in Comport’s US-wide leadership in IT transformations underway in the field of healthcare. Jack fosters and maintains deep relationships with Comport’s strategic partners and overall business strategy. He enjoys meeting with customers, and has great passion for solving their IT problems in the best possible manner. Those who know Jack have seen his capacity for out-of-the-box thinking.  Jack graduated from University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a degree in accounting.  He has a unique ability to inject a little fun into the workplace.

Michael C. Vencel

President

Mike Vencel provides the leadership and strategic planning to ensure continued growth and success of Comport. He oversees Comport’s data center businesses, strategic partnerships, and ComportSecure – Comport’s cloud and managed IT services division – across all geographies and vertical markets. With more than 25 years of experience in business management, technology, consulting and sales Mike has keen insight into customers’ business and IT needs. Mike sits on several executive partner advisory boards, including Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Veeam, and serves as President of the Board of Trustees for STEAMpark, INC., a 501(c)3 providing education for children in underserved New Jersey communities. Mike graduated from Bentley University with a BS in Finance.  His quick sense of humor and ability to incorporate new ideas facilitate Comport’s lively culture.

Bob Ishkanian

Chief Financial Officer

Bob graduated from Bernard M. Baruch College, New York with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He attained his license to practice as a CPA in 1980 and was a partner at Bernard D. Kleinman & Co. CPA in New York, where he specialized in business structuring and planning related to complex tax issues. Bob also served as CFO for a retail chain. Bob joined Comport in 2006 as CFO and member of the management team, where his prime duties encompass financial and risk management. He enjoys the technology business and finds it fascinating.

Erik Krucker

Chief Technology Officer

As Chief Technology Officer, Erik Krucker manages Comport’s IT solution strategies, both from a customer and partner perspective. Erik’s prior experience includes responsibility for Weill Cornell Medical College’s critical systems including Virtualized, Email, Epic Electronic Medical Records, and Storage. Erik also led the storage team for a global service provider of mission-critical IT services, including cloud computing, infrastructure as a service, platform as a service, colocation and data centers. Erik holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Fordham University in Management Information Systems and Communications. With strategic insight, straight talk, hands-on experience and wry sense of humor Erik is a valuable addition to customer strategies and a popular industry speaker.

Matt Burch

Vice President, ComportSecure

An accomplished IT leader and architect, Matt Burch is highly skilled in Managed Services and designing, deploying and managing complex IT infrastructures for large, mid-size, and growing companies. Matt is Comport’s executive leader responsible for ComportSecure, Comport’s Managed and Hosted Services division, and will oversee the Networking Practice.

Matt’s prior experience includes founding his own successful service business with stringent SLA’s and 24 x 7 support. Matt also architected and lead strategic initiatives for various service providers including managed services, IT architecture and cloud computing.

Justin Jongbloedt

Field Chief Technology Officer

As Comport’s Field CTO Justin Jongbloedt brings guru-level expertise to build and enhance our customers’ network and security strategies.  Justin tackles issues of security first zero trust network architecture for our customers Private and Public Clouds. With 20+ years of IT experience and helping customers build RIO while modernizing and securing their IT Systems. Justin loves to spend time with his wife Angela and his two kids in his spare time.

Kathleen D. Kinka

VP of Marketing

Kathleen Kinka brings 25 years of executive and consulting experience to Comport. She held senior management positions in public and private technology companies including Vice President for ISCG, Director Business Development at Sarnoff Corp., Sales management and Director International Trade Policy for Digital Equipment Corporation, and the Xerox Corp. Ms. Kinka holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois, and a Masters of Business Administration from Temple University.

David Gerrity

VP of Sales - ComportSecure & US Central

As Comport’s Vice President of US Central, David Gerrity is responsible for customer and partner outcomes. He is also leading our ComportSecure division to ensure we have best-in-class as a service and cloud options for our customers. Prior to joining Comport, David was President of a healthcare consulting firm, delivering clinical application and workflow advisors to help healthcare providers streamline their operations. David’s insights on business initiatives and technical needs of healthcare and commercial leaders underlies his ability to deliver best-in-class solutions for the toughest business challenges. A graduate of the Mendoza College of Business of the University of Notre Dame, David is also a former record holder in pole vault. In his spare time, he likes to spend time outdoors with his wife and six children.

Joe Zinna

Vice President of Sales, East

As Comport’s Vice President of Sales, East, Joe Zinna is responsible for providing overall executive leadership for sales. He has responsibility for managing sales teams in the region and ensuring growth across our OEM and Alliances community. Joe’s focus is on customer success, setting the sales strategy and effort, and to excel market share with our Partners, specifically within Comport’s Healthcare and Financial segments.

Joe joined Comport in 2017, and previously led sales for the New York Metropolitan Area. Joe joined Comport after a successful tenure with Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where he specialized in Data Center, Storage and Hybrid Cloud sales. For over a decade, Joe has worked with F500 customers to understand their needs, create business efficiencies and enable digital transformations. Joe has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from The State University of New York College at Cortland.
