Michael Volpi

Michael Volpi provides IT guidance for our healthcare clients as they plan and execute technology initiatives. Mr. Volpi was formerly Vice President of Technology Services at RWJBarnabas Health, NJ’s largest integrated health system serving over three million patients annually across 12 acute care hospitals, 3 children’s hospitals, a behavioral health center, 700+ patient care centers and their affiliation with Rutgers University’s medical schools and clinical research.

Mr. Volpi managed 25-50 major system-wide modernization projects each year.  These included multiple merger and acquisition integrations, the design and build of a 9000 square foot primary and failover data center, implementation of the Epic EMR with a successful Virtual Desktop TDR, and a resilient WAN. He was responsible for multi-year wireless infrastructure migrations and implementing MS Office 365.  Michael’s team was also responsible for the technology implementation of the Morris Cancer Center, New Jersey’s first freestanding cancer hospital with a 520,000 square foot, 12 story state-of-the-art medical and research facilities.  He established the executive incident response team for command and preparedness in the event of a major system outage.
